Your questions answered

Frequently asked questions about quotations, pricing, heat pumps, air conditioning and service.

General

How does the quotation process work?

Send your requirements using the form, WhatsApp or by phone. We may ask for photographs and measurements, then carry out a site survey and prepare a written quotation itemising materials, labour and the schedule. No work starts before you approve the quotation.

How is the price determined?

The price depends on the building’s heating or cooling demand, the selected equipment and brand, pipework and materials, the condition of the existing installation and labour time. Our free calculation and selection tools provide an approximate cost range; the final price is set out in a written quotation after the site survey.

Do you carry out site surveys?

Yes. On-site surveys for heat pump and new installation projects are free.

On-site visits for service, maintenance and fault diagnosis are chargeable. A service visit and fault diagnosis cost PLN 350 (gross). For addresses more than 10 km one way from central Kraków, a travel charge of PLN 5 (gross) per kilometre is added. This fee covers only the visit and fault diagnosis; repair labour and materials are charged separately and submitted for your approval before any work is carried out.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Kraków, serving Kraków and the surrounding area and undertaking projects throughout Poland. See our Service Areas page for details.

Which brands do you install?

Vaillant, Viessmann, Bosch, Buderus, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, NIBE, Lambda, Stiebel Eltron, De Dietrich, LG, Samsung, Gree, Geberit, Grohe, Hansgrohe and more. See Brands for the full list and product groups. If you have no specific brand preference, we will help you select equipment suited to your needs.

Heat pumps

Can a heat pump work with my existing radiators?

In many cases, yes. Some models can supply water at up to 70–75 °C. We use a heat loss calculation to assess whether the radiators are sufficient; sometimes enlarging a few radiators is enough.

How long does heat pump installation take?

For a typical detached house, installation usually takes 4–8 days. Removing an existing system and adding a hot water cylinder or buffer tank can affect the schedule; we confirm the duration after the site survey.

Is financial support available for heat pumps in Poland?

Poland has support programmes for heat pumps and heating modernisation, such as “Czyste Powietrze” and “Moje Ciepło”. Conditions and funding levels can change, so current eligibility and terms should be checked before applying.

Can a heat pump provide cooling in summer?

Many air-to-water heat pumps can also provide cooling. Underfloor systems or fan coils may be used for cooling; we assess compatibility when selecting the equipment.

Air conditioning

How long does air conditioning installation take?

A split air conditioner with one indoor unit can usually be installed within one day. Multi-split systems and longer pipe runs take more time.

How should I choose air conditioning capacity?

Capacity should be selected using more than floor area alone: orientation, glazing, insulation and how the room is used also matter. Our air conditioning selection assistant provides a preliminary estimate.

How often should air conditioning be serviced?

For domestic systems, we recommend filter and indoor unit cleaning, condensate drain checks and operating measurements at least once a year; twice a year for intensive use.

Service and maintenance

Do you service systems installed by other companies?

Yes. We also provide fault diagnosis, servicing and periodic maintenance for systems we did not install. See Service and Maintenance for details.

How does the warranty work?

Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The scope and duration of the installation and workmanship warranty are stated clearly in the written quotation.
